Finding the bathroom
NYPL’s Visitor Center guide directs visitors to the ramp entrance at 10 West 42nd Street. Past the security/visitor desk, it places women’s restrooms to the right and men’s restrooms to the left. These are directions within the building; ask staff which facilities are available. Source reviewed October 14, 2026; the exact doorway and full step-free route have not been checked on site.
